Founded in France in 2013 by Marie-Christine Statz, Gauchere, "left-handed" en Français, creates innovative designs that highlight the individual. Inspired by unique elements of tailoring, volume and structure, the label identifies its own contemporary essence in progressive collections that reimagine timelessness by embracing intuition.
Launching Gauchere on Dora Maar with stylist and Muse Sarah Clary, we highlighted her playful style and character. Vibrant visuals and dynamic styling captured her effortless energy, bringing lightness and spontaneity to the Gauchere x DoMa collaboration.
Sarah Clary is a New York-based stylist and art director known for her refined yet approachable aesthetic. Originally recognized for her work in children’s fashion, she helped launch J.Crew’s beloved Crewcuts line under Mickey Drexler and Jenna Lyons. Her styling and creative direction span brands like GAP Kids, J.McLaughlin, Target, Burberry, Old Navy, and Lilly Pulitzer, among many others. Sarah has collaborated with top photographers including Cass Bird, JUCO, and Coliena Rentmeester, and currently lends her creative vision to the women’s lifestyle brand Veronica Beard. With a career defined by thoughtful storytelling and timeless style, Sarah is a trusted voice in the fashion industry.
